Main Street Music provides banjo lessons for children and adults. No commitments are necessary beyond the first lesson. it's a great opportunity to come in, meet your teacher, take a lesson and decide afterward if you'd like to continue. Jack Peacock

Jack Peacock has been teaching guitar and banjo lessons and performing for approximately 30 years. He started studying the guitar at 7 years old and bass at 13 years old. After graduating high school Jack decided to take his music career further and pursued a degree in Music Education at Rowan University.  While at college Jack performed on a regular basis and has opened for acts such as Tammy Wynette, Mel Tillis, George Jones and Ernest Scruggs. He also has experience with composition and has worked on soundtracks for educational films presented on PBS. Jack still performs on a regular, weekly basis in local clubs and restaurants. He is well versed in many styles including jazz, rock and classical. Jack takes pride in his ability to customize his lessons to fit the needs and desires of each individual student. Jack also teaches guitar and electric bass at Main Street Music.
