Cello Lessons
Main Street Music provides cello lessons for children and adults age 6 and up. No commitments are necessary beyond the first lesson. it's a great opportunity to come in, meet your teacher, take a lesson and decide afterward if you'd like to continue. Carolina Hooper
Carolina Hooper teaches cello lessons for Main Street Music. She started learning cello at the age of 7 and her love of music has led her to earn a Bachelor of the Arts in Music at Rowan University. Classically trained by George Atanasiu, she has been a part of many musical ensembles in the South Jersey area. She works as a pit musician playing in various musical theaters such as The Broadway Theatre of Pitman, Eagle Theatre in Hammonton, and The Levoy Theatre located in Millville. In addition to this performance experience she has performed on electric cello as part of the Pop/R&B singer Adrean Black's band. Carolina has been teaching private cello lessons for 7 years and she loves bringing the joy of music into her students' lives.
