Taylor Kelly is an accomplished vocalist, songwriter, bandleader and trumpet player based in Philadelphia. Graduating from Berklee College of Music in May 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in Professional Music, she diligently studied the vast realm that is music. Having studied everything from classical to musical theater to jazz to pop, she is certainly versatile and for the past three years has taught students from ages 5 to 65 who take interest in all different styles. Taylor leads an 8-piece original group that has shared the stage with Moonchild (highly-esteemed LA-based neo-soul/jazz trio) and has released three albums, the most recent entitled “Do U Feel Me” released on June 23rd, 2017. She was also a finalist in the PHL Live Center Stage competition for R&B. Besides her own group, Taylor is the front-woman of Jay-Z/Beyoncé tribute band For The Record who had the unbelievable privilege of opening for Salt N Pepa at Boston’s ThrowBBaQ at City Hall in 2014. She is also a vocalist for Philadelphia-based wedding band Bachelor Boys Band and works with them throughout the year. Taylor takes pride in teaching songwriting lessons others and inspiring them to love music in the way she has learned to and instilling in them a confidence they never knew they could have.
