Antonio Guzman
Antonio Guzman is a brass multi-instrumentalist specializing in Euphonium, Trombone, Tuba, and Trumpet. He began his musical journey at age 10 as a flute player before expanding into brass performance during high school. Antonio earned his Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Rutgers University in 2026, where he studied under Aaron VanderWeele. During his time at Rutgers, he performed with a variety of ensembles, including brass ensemble, brass band, trombone choir, and tuba-euphonium ensemble, developing a diverse background in both performance and music education. Through his participation in the university’s tuba-euphonium ensemble, Antonio worked closely with Alan Baer, the principal tubist of the New York Philharmonic, gaining valuable insight from one of today’s leading brass performers and educators. In 2023, Antonio enlisted as a musician with the 78th Army Band, where he currently serves as both a performer and a supply coordination specialist. Through his military service, he has performed at high-profile events across numerous cities, including New York City, Philadelphia, Boston, London, and locations throughout Hawaii and Virginia. Antonio has also had the opportunity to perform alongside Craig Morgan and has proudly served as a member of the Army Honor Guard, conducting and performing military honors ceremonies. As an educator, Antonio is passionate about helping students build strong fundamentals, confidence, and a lifelong appreciation for music.
