He is currently the cross district elementary instrumental educator in
the Washington Township Public School system. Outside of education, Evan Smith is a sought-after freelance musician often asked to participate in classical recitals, jazz concerts, rock/funk concerts, and pit orchestras throughout the tri-state area. He also composes original music and co-leads for his own band named Ghost House, a modern jazz sextet. Lastly, he performs occasionally with the Canadian rock group The Arkells on their east coast tours as a member of the Philadelphia Brass Boys horn section. Evan’s passion for education and performance drives him to improve every day and instill that motivation within his students.
