Dan McGarry

Dan has been a piano teacher for fourteen years. A New Jersey Native, and Rowan University Music Performance Alumni, Professor McGarry is currently employed as an adjunct professor in that same institution, as well as being the Organist and choir director of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Clarksboro, New Jersey. Dan has studied with a variety of acclaimed piano teachers, including Lidia Boguslavsky and Raffi Besalyan. Professor McGarry completed his Masters Degree studying under Professor Veda Zuponcic in 2014. A member of NJMTNA (New Jersey Music Teachers National Association) and a board member from 2014-2015, Daniel’s piano students have competed in events organized by the association and performed well, to high marks from judges. Dan has participated in the NJMTNA Collegiate South Jersey Division, placing in numerous competitions. He is an active board member of the South Jersey Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, as well as a member of their programming committee.  Dan's calm and patient demeanor and extensive experience makes him an exceptional piano teacher for any student regardless of age and ability level.
