Emile Chevere
Emile Chevere is a composer and pianist based in South New Jersey. He holds a Bachelor's of Music in music composition from Rowan University where he studied under professor Roberto Pace. His own compositions feature numerous types of chamber ensembles. As a pianist, Emile Chevere has dedicated his time to playing new music, and has had the privilege of premiering many new works by living composers across many genres. Recently, he was featured as both a composer and pianist in The Boysie Laurie Living Composer Residency, which culminated in a performance at the Clifford Brown Jazz festival. Emile has also worked as an accompanist for many student recitals, and has served as the music director for several youth theatre productions at the Ocean City Theatre Company. Additionally, he served as an orchestrator and accompanist for the Vienna Summer Music Festival, an opera festival held in Vienna, Austria. Given his dedication to exploring all kinds of music, Emile is passionate about teaching students the skills needed to play and compose music for a variety of musical settings and across genres.
