Eric Aldrich

Eric Aldrich has been teaching piano lessons in the South Jersey area for more than 10 years. Over the course of that time he has developed a unique teaching style that enables him to customize his lesson plans to fit the needs and aspirations of each individual student.

 

In college Eric studied classical piano heavily as well as jazz piano. He studied classically with Raffi Besalyan and Lydia Boguslavsky. Eric also studied jazz with George Genna, Dean Schneider, George Mesterhazy and latin jazz techniques with Orlando Fiol. He graduated in 2009 with his Bachelor's degree in Music Education. Upon graduating Eric made his way into various cover bands and rock bands while keeping one foot in the jazz scene. Eric plays and tours regularly with the funk/soul band Dapp on the east coast, the Philharmonic of Southern New Jersey and with various other groups in and around the Philadelphia area. Eric has shared the stage with musicians like Denis DiBlasio, George Rabbai, Kelli Campbell and Paula Johns. He has also performed at well-known venues such as World Cafe Live, Chris' Jazz Cafe, the Four Seasons Hotel and Nectar's in Vermont. Eric has served as accompanist for the Hammonton Presbyterian Church, Walnut Street Theatre as well as many other festivals and musicals. Eric is one of the co-owners of Main Street Music and has taught at various other lesson studios including the Conservatory of the Musical Arts and Musically Speaking Studios to name a few. He has played many weddings, private parties, musicals, cocktail hours and other various events. These experiences have enabled Eric to teach many different styles of music.
