Audra Casebier
Audra Casebier is a Philadelphia based performer and voice instructor. She is an artist that is really inspired by stories of unlocked potential and knowing that she is an element in an audience's magic is what energizes her performance. She is inspired by artists that lift humanity up and celebrate our flaws through compassionate, vulnerable and honest storytelling. She loves to collaborate on projects/with artists that shine light on stories that occurred in the last century that include orchestration that reflects the rich tapestry of musical styles and colors that still influence our modern American culture.
With 10+ years of teaching experience specializing in individualized, science-based training that integrates biomechanics, body alignment, and nervous system awareness to support healthy, expressive singing, Audra is experienced in teaching across multiple commercial and classical styles, including classical, musical theatre, pop/rock, and country. Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals, strengths, and learning style through the use of imagery, movement, positional drills, and demonstration. Emphasis on building student confidence, sustainable technique, and artistic development through appropriate repertoire selection and practical vocal tools. She regularly assesses students’ mental, emotional, and physical readiness to provide supportive instruction that recognizes vocal growth as a non-linear process.
Recent roles include Rosalie Mullins (School of Rock), Mother Abbess (The Sound of Music) and Cinderella's Stepmother (Into the Woods) at Candlelight Theatre. Walnut Street Theatre credits include Madame de la Grande Bouche u/s (performed) (Beauty and the Beast), Ensemble u/s (performed) and Marie u/s in Cinderella. Elsa (The Sound of Music) Music Mountain Theatre. She has performed with the Philadelphia Phillies, OperaDelaware, Liberty City Voices, and Allentown Symphony Orchestra. Her debut album, Here in Eden, is now available for streaming on all major streaming platforms!
