John’s piano teaching philosophy is to keep his students engaged and entertained by the infinite possibilities of learning to play the piano. Growing up as the son of a piano teacher, John was exposed to many different books and methods of the study of music. Music was constantly heard or being played by any of the nine members in the Callaghan family household. John has benefited greatly from this upbringing and shares his experience with his students whenever possible. He hopes to inspire students, the way he was inspired by his life in music.
