Edward McKeown

Pianist Edward McKeown is an active performer and teacher in the Greater Philadelphia area. Based in South Jersey, he began his piano studies in high school with Rowan University alumni Chris Tumminia and Daniel McGarry. He then went on to study under renowned pedagogue Veda Zuponcic for his undergraduate and graduate studies at Rowan University.

Mr. McKeown can be heard frequently as an accompanist for ensembles and soloists, both vocal and instrumental. He is on the piano faculty of several local music schools, including Music Training Center of Marlton, West Jersey Music Academy, and Main Street Music. Mr. McKeown previously worked as a piano instructor for Rowan University's pre-college division, the Rowan Community Music School. He also currently serves as Music Director of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Willingboro, New Jersey, and also performs in various pit orchestras throughout the area. 

In his free time, Mr. McKeown enjoys studying music history and various genres of music theory, which he offers private tutoring sessions for.
